Order concerning Mrs.
Frances Seymour< no role >
Housekeeper of
Hicks hall & Mrs.
Judith Geary< no role > }

Upon reading the humble peticon of Judith Geary< no role >
exhibited unto this Court setting forth that the peticoner
hath served his Maties Justices of the peace of this County
at Hicks hall for above these twelve yeares in Pewter,
brass, linnen, knives, forkes and all other conveniency,
and for above six yeares of the twelve hath provided
Victualls for them, And that there was a Committee
appointed and they Ordered that the Court Fees should
be devided between Mrs. Seymour and the Peticoner
every Sessions, and every halfe yeare fifteen pounds
which she never would doe without disputes, And
that the peticoner hath severall licences in her hand
that are dead and gone away that she is paid for which
she will not allow for, And the peticoner humbly
prayeth that this Court will Order that Mrs. Seymour
may pay what is due upon the licences and other
accounts, And that this Court will be pleased to
accept of her son to act in his Fathers Stead, he having
another place at Westmr, and the peticoner haveing
linnen, pewter and all other conveniencys for his
Maties Justices of peace , This Court upon consideracon
of the said peticon Doth (Nemine contradicente)
Resolve and declare that Mrs. Frances Seymour be
esteemed the Housekeeper of the Sessions house
called Hicks Hall in St. John Street in this County,
and that she hath power to putt in and employ her
Owne Servants to doe her busyness and act and
manage on her behalfe And this Court doth Order
that it be and it is hereby referred to the Clerke of the
peace of this County to adjust the
accounts depending between the said Mrs. Seymour
and the peticoner and doth further Order that the
Peticoner be accountable for all the goods
