Whereas by an Order made at the Generall Quarter
Sessions of the Peace holden for this County by adjornment
on the Ninth day of July last It was Ordered (inter al)
that the Trustees appointed by vertue of One Act of
Parliament made in the third Year of the Reign of his
present Majesty King George, Entituled, An Act for
repairing the Highways from severall places therein
menconed leading towards Highgate Gate house
and Hampstead in the County of Middx, and for Electing
Trustees for keeping up a sufficient Number for the
repairing the Highways upon the Roads from
Highgate Gate house to Barnett Block house, and
also of the Highways between Kilburne bridge and
Sparrow Herne in the County of Hertford, should
cause an Extract to be made from their severall
Books of what Moneys had been received and paid for
and on Account of the said Turnpike, and also a State
of the said Turnpike with regard to the income thereof
and of other things comprized in the said Order and to
transmitt such Extract State and Account to the Clerk
of the Peace of this County on or before the First
day of this present Quarter Sessions to the intent
that the same might be laid before his Majestys
Justices of the Peace for this County at the same Sessions,
And Whereas Edward Byollin< no role > Clerk to the said
Trustees did on the Twelfth day of October instant
being the Second day of this present Sessions leave
with the Clerk of the Peace of this County four
Severall Papers which he alledged to be transmitted
to the said Clerk of the Peace by the said Trustees as
the Extract State and Accompt required by the said
Order, And the consideration thereof being adjourned
untill this present day, This Court upon reading thereof
