John Dyer< no role > of Gravel Lane Houndsditch in the City
of London Woolstapler maketh Oath and saith that he was
by Summons left at the House of him this Deponent
required to attend at the Sessions holden in the Month
of Septemberlast to serve as a Juror That at
the time the said Summons was left at his this Deponents
House he this Deponent was out of this Kingdom to wit,
in France And that he this Deponent did not return
to this Kingdom until some time after the Sessions
which he this Deponent was by said Summons required
to attend at was concluded And further this Deponent
saith that he did not know of the said Summons being
left at his this Deponents House until after his return
from Forance aforesaid.
