maketh Oath and saith that he was by
Summons left at his House in Fore Streetaforesaid
(as this Deponent is informed and believes) required to attend
to serve as a Juror at the Session of the Peace holden at the
Guildhall
in the said City on the 10th day of September last
That at the time the said Summons was so left at his this
Deponents House he this Deponent was then at Chesham
in the County of Bucks for the Recovery of his
this Deponents health and did not return to London until
Friday the 7th. of same Month of September That he this
Deponent was then in a very bad state of health And this
Deponent further saith that he did not know of the said
Summons being left at his house requiring his attendance
as aforesaid until the Evening of Friday the 28th of said
Month of September when some person in his this Deponents
house acquainted him therewith.
