The several Informations of Arthur Sadler< no role >
and Jane Dolman< no role > Taken the 16th. day of
July 1787 .

The saith Arthur Sadler upon his Oath saith
That he is Coachman to Mr. Hall of Southampton
Street That a Court the hour of 4. o'Clock this afternoon
being in the Kings Arms Yard in Silver Street
Bloomsbury he saw a Man now in Custody who says
his Name is Thomas Riley< no role > Take Two Shirts from
off a Line in the yard which were hanging to dry and went
into the House with them and then came out of the House
with the Shirts in his Apron That he pushed Riley
into the House and brot him put the Shirts down which
he did in the Kitchen and then he went into the Street
but was soon afterwards brought back and he was put into
a Cistern of Water by him and others and pumped upon
and afterwards was taken Before a Justice

The said Jane Dolman< no role > upon her Oath
Saith That She is Servent to Mr. William Jeys< no role >
who keeps the Kings Arms Alehouse in High
Holborn That about the time above mentioned she
saw Riley< no role > come into the House from the yard and
Sadler was following him and asked him where he
was going with the things That Riley came into Kitchen
followed by Sadler and she then saw the Two shirts now
Produced in his (Rileys) possession which she took from
him one of the Shirts is a Callico and the other a Linnen
and are both the Property of the said William Jeys< no role >
