was a Vilhan and had surindled him out of a pint of Beer, to which
the deced replied he had not, that Wester Her laid hold of the deced
by the Arm and a scuffle ensued between them, and they went into the
Tap Room, that Dept saw no more being held back by a Man manner
Boulton who sayed if Dept stirred he would knock be down.

Edward Ettrick< no role > of No. 1 Great Sutton Street Middx Horse
hair Weaver maketh oath that on Saturday sennight last at night
as Dept was passing along Old Street he heard a quarrelling in the
Falstaf Alehouse, which occasioned him; to go in; and in the Tap Room
he saw the deced, & the Landlord was coming out of a back Room; that
the dear and Landlord approached each other, both saying they were
not afraid if the other; that the Landlord layor hold of the deced by
both his Lands & a suffling ensued between them and they disen-
gaged themselves from each other; that the Landlord made up to
the dead again, seized hold of him and threw him down, and the Landlord
fell also; that they both got up, and then the Landlord seized hold of
the deced by the hair of his head and his Collar and threw him down,
that the deced called out his leg was broken, and the Landlord while
he was down struck him with his right first several times on the upper
part of his body, that Dept asked if that was usage for a man, and the
Landlord , answered what is that your and sayed he would turn Dept
out of Doors.

printer maketh oath that on Saturday sennight last in the eve
Dept went into the Falstaff Alehouse in Old Street & into the Back
Room, where Dept had not been more than five minutes before he
understood a quarrel had taken place between the deced & a Man names
Parker (both of whom were present) relative to some light Gold Hillad
passed between them; that the deced told Parker he was a dawned
Raschall and black guard for paying him money be had lent to him in
light Gold, to which Parker sayed he had not for that the Gas. he had
