returned were wright & he pushed Parker several times, & Parker
sayed to him he did not want to quarrel or to breed a Riot in the
House and many words passed between them, which brought the landlord
in ale told [..] the decd to be quiet for he would not have a disturbance in
the house, notwithstanding which the deced and said Parker continued
wearsling, that the Landlord then sayed if they would not be quiet he
must take other means for he would not have a Riot it his House,
on which the deced struck the Landlord on his face and knocked him
backwards, and while the [..] Landlord was getting up the delied
struck him a second time, and then they both closed together, and
while they were struggling the W [..] of the deced [..] went up to the
Lane land and pulled his hair; that the deced and [..] Landlord
his engaged themselves and the deced went into the Tap Room and
the Landlord followed, and Dept continued in the [..] room and
saw no more.

William Parker< no role > of Old Street Bricklayer maketh oath
that on the eve of Saturday night last Dept was in the House of
James Weston< no role > the Falstaff Alehouse in Old Street and & difference arose
between Dept and the deced who sayed Dept had returned him light Gold
and the deced should [..] dept, & Weston came in and desired there might
be no piece of work; Her then the deced's Wife came in, and the deced
struck the Landlord & heal him down, and the Landlord set up and the
deced and his Wife both sell on him, the Wife pulling his hair, and the
Husband striking him; that they were then disengaged and went into the
Tap Room, and Dept afterwards saw the deced fall being thrown down
in a struggle, and the deced sayed his leg was broker; that same person wanted
a Shutter to carry the deced to the Hospital which the Landlord refused
saying whatsure him plaister for breaking his Head or same thing to
that effect.

Sarah Stoll of Peters Court Cow Cross Spinster maketh
oath that on Saturday sennight last in the eve Dept went in [..] the
Falstaff Alehouse in Oldstreet with the before named Robert Hewlett< no role > ;
that a quarrell arose between the deced and Mr. Parker relative [..]
light Gold, and the Landlord interpereins to quiet item the deced struck
him deced against the fore' place and after Act they went into the
