The Information of William
King of No. 1 Inner Temple Lane
Gardener taken before me this 30th
day of April 1787 .

Who being upon Oath saith that on Monday
the ninth day of April Instant between nine
and ten o'Clock in the Evening he this Informant went
to the Castle and Fatcon Inn in Aldersgate
Street with a bundle containing three Ruffled
Shirts two plain ditto seven Neck Handkerchiefs
six pocket ditto one pair of black Sattin Breeches
one Pair of Paukeen Breeches one pair of
Silver Shoe Buckles one pair of Paste Knee
Buckles and one German Flute the Property
of Martin Madan< no role > Esquire That he saw a
Man whom he knows not standing at the Inn
Gate That said Man asked him by what Coach
the bundle was to go Informant replied by
the Leicester Coach That said Man told this
Informant the bookkeeper was gone home
to drink Tea but he would shew him the
House where he was and desired Informant
to being hard at the Bell That Informant
accordingly went with said Man towards said
House where he saw the Person now present
who calls himself William Stone< no role > standing
at the door of said House with a Book in his
Hand and an Ink Stand tyed to the Button hole
of his Coat and appeared to be a Bookkeeper
That the said Man said to said Stone you are
wanted here is a parcel to Book" That said Stone
replied he was coming directly and asked Informant
if he paid the Carriage That said Stone then
desired
