At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden for
the City of London at the Guildhall within the said City on Monday
the Ninth day of July in the Twenty Seventh Year of the Reign of
our Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great Britain Etc.
Before Thomas Sainsbury< no role > Esquire Mayor of the City of London
James Adair one of His Majesty's Serjeants at Law Recorder
of the said City. John Boydell< no role > Esquire , Sir James Sanderson< no role >
Knight Aldermen of the said City and others their Fellows
Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the Peace
of our said Lord the King within the said City and also to
hear and determine divers felonies Trespasses and other
misdeeds committed within the said City

Whereas by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and
seals of two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of London and
Liberties thereof (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the Tenth day of
March last Elizabeth Haywood< no role > Widow was removed and conveyed
from and out of the Parish of Sain Katherine Cree Church in the said City
to the Parish of Saint James in Dukes place of her last legal Settlement
Now upon hearing the Petition and appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint James in Dukes place
exhibitted at this present Session against the Warrant and Judgment of the
said two Justices in the Presence and hearing of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Katherine Cree Church It
by the consent of all parties ordered that the Warrant and Judgment
of the said two Justices be and the same is hereby Confirmed and that the
Appeal aforesaid be and the same is hereby dismissed and that the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
James in Dukesplace do maintain and provide for the said Elizabeth
Haywood until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due
Course of Law
