and revoking the Probate of the said Will which
had been granted to the Prisoner and also with
Instructions to the said Mr. Johnson to find out Persons
who Knew the said James White< no role >
deceased and his
Family in order to prove more decisively than can at present be done that the Prisoner was not
the Brother of the said James White< no role >
And this Deponent
Further saith That on or about the Third day of this
Instant February he this Deponent received a Letter
from the said Mr. Johnson dated the second Day of
the same Month acquainting this Deponent that he
had not then been able to discover any of the
Relations of the said James White< no role >
or Persons who
Knew his Family Tho' he had used his best
Endeavours so to do [..] but that he
should continue his Inquiries and make the Business
as public as possible and had no doubt of finding out such
Relations if they existed in that Neighbourhood
since [..] the receipt of which Letter this Deponent
saith by hath not heard Further from the said Mr. Johnson
but saith that he thro Deponent in Consequence of
Mr. Johnson's said Letter hath caused Advertisements
to be inserted three different times in the daily
Advertiser and the same Number of times in the
Saint James's
Chronicle
for discovering the relations
of the said James White< no role >
but hitherto without Effect
And this Deponent Further Saith that under the
Circumstances of this Case he this Deponent Apprehended
