Be it remembered That on the twenty ninth day of July in the twenty sixth
Year of the reign of our sovereign Lord George the Third of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the
Faith and so forth and in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and eighty six Josiah Harvey< no role > of
the Parish of Saint Giles without Cripplegate in the said City of London Baker is convicted before me Thomas
Wright Esquire Lord Mayor of the said City one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said City for
unlawfully selling on the twenty eight day of the said Month of July in the said Parish of Saint Giles
without Cripplegate in the said City five Loaves of Wheaten Bread purporting to be quartern Loaves each
deficient in Weight one Ounce three other Loaves of Wheaten Bread purporting to be quartern Loaves each
deficient in Weight one Ounce and an half One other Loaf of Wheaten Bread purporting to be a quartern
Loaf deficient in Weight two Ounces and one other Loaf of Wheaten Bread purporting to be a quartern Loaf
deficient in Weight three Ounces according to the assize then and there set for the said several
Loaves of Wheaten Bread against the form of the Statute in such Case made and provided And I she
said Justice Do adjudge him the said Josiah Harvey< no role > to pay and forfeit for each and every Ounce of the said
several Wheaten Loaves so sold as aforesaid deficient in Weight according to the assize set for the same
as aforesaid the Sum of five shillings making together the sum of three pounds and five Shillings.
