To the Right Honble: Thomas Wright< no role > Esqr . Lord Mayor of the City of
London and the rest of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said
City and the Liberties thereof in their General Session of the Peace
Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Giles
in the Fields in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass arrant or Order under the
hands and seals of the said Right Honble. Thomas Wright< no role > Esquire and
William Newman< no role > Esquire two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace for
the said City and Liberties, one being of the Quorum, bearing date
the 21st. day of July last Moses Cox< no role > and (a Woman called in the
said Order) his Wife Jane were removed and conveyed from and out
of the Parish of Saint Giles without Cripplegate London to the said
Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields as the place of the last legal
Settlement of the said Moses whereby your Petitioner conceive
themselves aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
Appeal to this Court against the Adjudication
of the said two Justices and their said Order And
pray that your Worships will he pleased to
appoint a day in this present Session for the
hearing and determining the said Appeal

And Your Petitioners will pray Etc
