The Information of George Pettit< no role > the Younger of Chingford in the
County of Essex , Husbandman , Who being upon Oath
saith that between the Hours of six and seven o'Clock on saturday Yesterday
Evening in or about Little Britain he met the Prisoner now
under Examination, Charlotte Walker< no role > This name instance is in set 1436. , and went with her into
a Public House and had six pennyworth of Brandy Rum and Water
says that at this Time he was in Liquor, but not so drunk
but he knew what he did Says that they went together to a
House in naked Boy Court Ludgate street and he agreed to have
Connections with the Prisoner and to give her one shilling
that he was conducted by the Prisoner up one Pair of Stairs into a
Room, and he, this Informant tolled the Door says that
Le put his Hand in his Left Hand Pocket, and felt his Purse
wherein was a ten Pound Note and seventy nine as and three
half Guineas in Gold Says that he buttoned his Breeches
Pocket, and then immediately laid himself down upon the
Bed upon his Back and the Prisoner immediately threw
herself upon her side by him says that the Prisoner gave
him a violet shake by the Breeches and nolled him man over
she then got off the Bed and went to the Window, the
Curtains of which were down says that he did not then miss
the Purse of Money says that the other Prisoner Hannah
Burch who acted in Servant in the House, and took a
shilling for the Room, brought soon Brandy and asked him
to drink which he declined says that about two Minutes
afterwards he put his Hand in his Pocket, and missed his
Purse, on which he got off the Bed, and challenged the Prisoner
with the Felony the Prisoner appeared to him to [..] affect
Drunkenness, threw herself upon the Bed, and desired to
be searched, which was afterwards done by the Constable
but no Part of the Property found upon her says that he
verily believes the Prisoner took the Purse Note and monies
[..] above mentioned, out of his Pocket.
