Who being on Oath say and first the said Luke Naylor< no role >
Says that
on the Night of Sunday the 24th. day of October last his Chambers in Cliffords Inn
[..] broke open and a Quantity of Wearing apparel and Linen was
Stolen therein, and that a Scarlet Coat now produced is his property
and is one of the Coats that was so stolen And the said Robert
Payne Says that the Scarlet Coat now produced he [..] took
in pledge on Monday the 25th. of October between 8 and 9 o'Clock in the
morning of a Person now present who calls himself John Mason< no role >
on which Coat this Informant lent him one Guinea and the corded silk
Waistcoat now produced, he took in Pawn on the 27th of October of Joseph
Remnant< no role >
