The Information of John Whitworth< no role > and
William Wheeler< no role > and John Armstrong< no role > taken on Oath the fourth day
of January 1785 before me one of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex

This Informant John Whitworth< no role > Saith That he is a Coach
master and lives in the Parish of Saint John Hackney and That
one [..] Mrs. Abigail Barich< no role > of Saint Mary Axe London Keeps
her Coach at Livery in the Stable yard belonging to this
Informant [..] in Bishopsgate street London

This Informant William Wheeler< no role > Saith That he is a
Coachman and drives a Coach for Mrs. Abigail Barich< no role > of Saint
Mary Axe London and stands at Mr. Whitworths Livery
stables in Bishopsgate street London, And that he went
out with Mrs. Abigail Barich's Coach on Friday the Thirty first
day of December last and returned home to the Stable yard
and put the Coach into the Coach house between four and
five O'Clock that evening and fastened the Coach house
door and left the same so fastened And on going the next
morning to Clean his Coach he found the same to have
been Robbed of one Plate, Coach door Glass and a Hammer cloth
And further Saith That a Hammer cloth and Coach Glass
now produced by John Armstrong< no role > a Peace Officer is the
property of the said Mrs. Abigail Barich and is the same
that was stolen from her said Coach as aforesaid

And this Informant John Armstrong< no role > Saith That he
is a Peace Officer for the County of Middlesex And that on
Friday Evening the Thirty first day of December last [..]
about seven O'Clock he met William Taylor< no role > the Prisoner
now under Examination in Bishopsgate near the Church
there, and seeing the Prisoner with a bundle under his
Arm this Informant asked him what he had there, to which
the Prisoner replied what was it to him, And this Informt.
then perceived it to be a Coach Glass, and the Prisoner then
told him he was going to Long Acre , Informant suspecting the
same to have been stolen stop't the Prisoner with the
property now Produced.
