WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London
and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Bride

, (with his Wife and
two Children hereafter named) was
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, andx is likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Jeremiah as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Jeremiah
to be in the said Parish of Sharnbrook
and that thither to he ought by Law to be sent.

quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of

of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
