Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint James
within the Liberty
of the City of Westminster
in the Country of
Middlesex
.
Sheweth
That by Virtue of an Order under the Hands
and Seals of Robert Peckham< no role >
Esquire
Mayor
and John Hart< no role >
Esquire
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the City of London
and Liberties thereof (one being of the Quorum) bearing Date the
14th. day of July last whereby Johannah< no role >
the Widow
of George
Jones< no role >
with her Child
namely Alexander Solea< no role >
aged five years
were removed and conveyed from the Parish of Saint Botolph
without Bishopsgate
London
to the said Parish of Saint
James
Westminster
as the place of their last legal Settlement
whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved.
Your Petitioners therefore humbly Appeal
to this Court against the Adjudication
of the said two Justices and their said
Order and pray that the Hearing and
Determining of the said Appeal may come
on at this present General Session.
And your Petitioner will ever pray Etc.
