The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish and Town
of Hungerford
in the Country of Berks
.
Sheweth
That by Virtue of an Order under the Hands and Seals of your
Lordshipp and

Esquire
two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace
for the
City of London
and Liberties thereof bearing Date the Twenty Eighth day of June last
Catherine Cook< no role >
aged Five Years and upwards and
Ann Cook< no role >
aged there Years and
upwards (being the Daughter
s of
James Cook< no role >
who hath deserted there) were removed
and Conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Giles's without Cripplegate
to
the said Parish and Town of Hungerford
at the Place of the last legal Settlement
of the said Catherine and Ann Cook whereby your Petitioners conceive
themselves to be aggrieved.
Your Petitioners therefore humbly Appeal
to this Court against the Ajudication of the said Two
Justices and their said Order And Pray that the
Benefit of this Appeal may be saved to the Petitioners
and that the hearing and Determining thereof be adjourned
to the next General Session of the Peace to be holden in
and for the said City and Liberties.
And your Petitioners shall pray Etc.
