ve Cause Maketh Oath that this Dept. being under Sheriff
County of Essex this Dept. Obliged to Attend the Execution
Majesty's Writt of ad Quod Dampnum to the said Sheriff
[..] which said Writt of Ad Quod Dampnum is to be
executed on Monday the Second day of [..] December [..] instant [..]
at Ten of the Clock in the forenoon at Chigwell in the County
of Essex aforesaid being about Twelve Miles distant from London

Lord the King to Enquire & Execute the said Writt of Ad Quod
Dampnum Wherefore this Dept. humbly hopes that for the
reasons abovementioned that the Tryall in the above Cause may
be putt Off to the next Sessions of the Peace to be held for the City of London
According to this Depts. Notice given to the said Defend and for that
Purpose And this Dept. Saith that this [..] Dept. is a very Material
Witness in the above Cause without [..] Testimony cause to safely ordered to [..] And this Depont. saith that onthe
Saturday the 30th. day of Novr: this Dept. served the Defendt.
with a Copy of the Notice of Motion hereunto annexed by
Delivering the said Notice to the said Mr: Defendts. Wife at
his house in White fryars London
