Brother of the Trinity House in
May Session 1784 at the Old Bailey
for not attending as a Petty Juryman
for London .

David Court< no role > This name instance is in set 3902. of the Trinity House London Gentleman
Second Clerk to the Corporation called the Master Wardens and
Assistants of the Guild Fraternity or Brotherhood of the most
Glorious and undivided Trinity and of Saint Clement in the
Parish of Deptford Strond in the County of Kent maketh Oath
and saith that William Davis< no role > of Tower Hill London Merchant
was on or about the eleventh day of May One Thousand seven
hundred and eighty one duly elected and chosen an Elder
Brother of the said Corporation and that he hath ever since been
and now is such Elder Brother And this Deponent saith he hath
been informed and believes that by virtue of a Clause a Clauses
in a certain Charter of Confirmation Granted to the said Corporation
and by virtue of such choice as aforesaid the said William Davis< no role >
is exempted from serving on Juries Inquests and Inquisitions
otherwise than at Sessions of Admiralty .
