Colin Mackenzie< no role > Major in his Majesty's late Ninety second Regiment
of Foot Maketh Oath and Saith that he did on the fifth of November
last Personally deliver to John Wickey< no role > now or late Captain or
Commander of his Majesty's Ship the Rotterdam a Petter Signed
by the above Named Kenneth Mackinzie< no role > which was in the words
and figures or to the purport or Effect following (that is to say)
"To John Wickey< no role > Esquire fifth November One thousand seven
"hundred and Eighty three Sir I desire you will deliver to the
"Bearer Major Colin Mackenzie< no role > all Effects and Paper belonging to my
"which you have seized and Posseded yourself of and his Recit shall
"be a Sufficient discharge to you for such Effects and Papers as you
"shall deliver him in consequence of this Authority I am Sir Your
"Humble Servant Kenneth Mackenzie< no role > To John Wickey< no role > Esquire
"late Captain and Commander of his Majesty's Ship the Rotlerdam"
and this Deponent further Saith that at the the time he so delivered the
said Litter to the said John Wickey< no role > he this Deponent requested
the said John Wickey< no role > to Comply with the Contents of the said
Letter which the said John Wickey< no role > hath never done And this
Deponent Saith that he has been informed and verily believes
that the said Effects and Papers have not nor hath any part of the
said Paper been delivered to received by or come to the Hands of
the said Kenneth Mackenzie< no role > or any other Person or Persons for
his use but that the same still remain in the hand or
