UPON Complaint of the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Walthamston aforesaid
in the Sd. County of Essex unto us whose Names
are hereunto set, and Seals affixed, being two of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices
of the Peace in and for the said County of Essex
and one of us of the Quorum, that Martha Trasellers Etc
her three Children namely John< no role > Aged nine Years
James< no role > Aged Seven Years & Richard< no role > Aged one Year
did lately come to inhabit in the said Parish of Walthamston
not having gained a legal Settlement there, nor
produced any Certificate owning them to be settled else-
where, and that the said Martha Trasell< no role > & her
Children aforesd.
are likely to be chargeable to the said
Parish of Walthamstow We the said
Justices upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon the Examination
of the said Martha Trasell< no role > upon Oath,
as otherwise, and likewise upon due Consideration had of the Premises,
do adjudge the ame to be true; and we do likewise adjudge, that the
lawful Settlement of them the said Martha Trasell< no role > & her
Children aforesaid

is in the said Parish of St. Martins Geoman [..] Lane in the said
City of London We do therefore
require you the said Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Walthamston or some of
one of you, to convey the said Martha Travell & her
three Children named aforesaid

from and out of your said Parish of Walthamston
to the said Parish of St. Martins and them
to deliver to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or
to some or one of them, together with this our Order, or a true Copy
thereof. And we do also hereby require you the said Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Martins
to receive and provide for them as Inhabitant of your
Parish Given under our Hands and Seals the Twenty Sixth
Day of April in the Year of our Lord One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Eighty three
