WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of

's Justices of the Peace
for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Martin
Ironmonger Lane
London, That
Martha< no role >
the Wife
of

Travells< no role >
, did
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and is likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Martha Travells as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Martha Travells
to be in the said Parish of Chigwell
in the said County
of Essex
and that thitherto she ought by Law to be sent.
These are therefore in His Majesty< no role >
's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
of the said Parish of Saint Martin Ironmonger Lane
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Martha
Travells
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Chigwell in the said County of Essex
And her deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for her according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 22d Day of May One Thousand
