a Noise about the Book and that his Property should be restored to
him, that the Prisoner Taylor then asked Informant to go with
him and he would treat Informant with a Pint of Beer or any thing
else he chose to drink, that Informant the Watchman the Prisoner and
the said other Woman went out together into a Court in Holborn
that the said other Woman and the Prisoner Taylor walked together
out of the House, that when Informant came to the Corner of the COurt
he observed that the said other Woman had left them whereupon he
asked Taylor where she was gone to, and he in reply sayd
that she was gone up Holborn here she is, that Informant
instantly went up Holborn as directed by Taylor, but saw nothing
of the Woman, that when he returned he asked the Prisoner Taylor
if he knew her and he replied that he did, that Informant then
asked Taylor to go with him and the Watchman but the Prisoner
refused to accompany themInformants Saith that he verily
believes that the Prisoner Taylor desired this Informants the
Watchman the Prisoner Stephens and the said other Woman to go
out of the House for the Purpose of giving them the said Elizabeth
Stephens< no role > and the said other Woman an Oppertunity of Escaping

Saith that he also believes from the Subsequent Conduct of
Taylor that he was Privy to the Escape of the said other Woman
and that he knowingly directed this Informant to go in
pursuit of her a different Way to which he knew she was gone

oClock at Night he was called to by the Informant Greenland
who told him that he had been robbed of his Pocket Book
