ur renting and upon Oath Before me Sir
Walker Lewes Knight Lord Mayor< no role > of
the said City the 29th May 1781

Who on his Oath saith that on the Eleventh [..] sd
May Instant about Ten of the Clock at Night as
Informant was going home he met the Prisoner P Elizabeth Bedford< no role > on
[..] mon Court aforesaid who instantly laid hold of him about
his Middle and called to another Girl in the Court who thereupon
came up and pushed against Informant at which instant
he [..] perceived the Prisoner taking his Watch out of his
Pocket which he apprehends she conveyed to the said
Other Girl< no role > who immediately made of that Informant
secured the Prisoner and charged her with he was robbed
him if his Watch which the demed; upon which he
took her to the Watch House where she was searched
but nothing found upon her
