First the Informant John Edgerley for himself Saith that on
Friday last about seven of the Clock in the Evening [..]
the Prisoner John Cazne otherwise John Hewlock Come and Elizabeth Boston< no role >
came
into Informats House and asked for three Penny worth of
Gum and Water which Informant made and carried it to
them in a Parlour behind the Tap Room that after the Prisoner
had been there about an Hour he observed and the other Informant
Mary Hallett< no role >
looking into the Room to observe the Prisoner
Conduct upon which he asked her What they was doing of which
she replyed that they were doing what they should not do that
be thereupon desired her to go into the Room to them and that
he accompanied her and observed that all the said John come otherwise John
Henlock Coyne< no role >
and Elizabeth Beston< no role >
and also William Wood< no role >
(who cause in after the said other Prisoner) were suffering
dawn upon which the asked them what they had been
about they answered nothing That the Bureau in the
Room where the Prisoners sat was broke open and a small
Box containing a Money Seale and Weight & an Handkerchief
value three shilings taken Servant which was afterwards
