Prosecution of Letitea Clarke< no role > For
Felony

Abraham Barren< no role > the dependant in this Prosecution and
Michael Levy< no role > Aldgate High Street London Clerk Severally make Oath
and First this deponent Abraham Barren For himself Saith
that For Some time last past let part of this house Seituate in Bookers
Gardens Leaden hale Street London as a Compting House to Messrs.
Bull and Heyey who are as this Deponent believes very Considerable
Merchants and Traders in diverse Branches of Merchandizes and For
Which Accompting House and Conveniences the said Messrs. Bull and
Heyey Paid to this deponent the Seven of Sixteen Pounds P Annum
And this Deponent Further Saith that on the Second day of this
instantJanuaryFebruary A Box (which upon Opening) contained
a Large Quantity of Chipp Hatts Foreign: and Also a Quantity of Lawn
Lace and Other Goods was brought by a Porter who as this deponent
as Informed and verily believes is the Porter belonging to the
Southampton Waggon which Inns or putts up At the Rose Inn Holborn
Bridge London And which Box was [..] ieeted For the said Messrs. Bull and
heyey And this deponent Saith that on or about the Fifth day of this
Instant February Several persons Accompanyed by a Peace a
Officer came to this deponent house And then and there Forcibly
entered the Accompting house and other Appartments of the said
Messr. Bull and Heye and broke Several Locks of this
deponent Seperate Appartments. and One Richard Downer< no role >
a Servant or Shopman of the Prosecutrix Pound one Chipps Hall
which he said was the Property of his Mistress Mrs. Clarke the
Prosecutrix and which had been stolen From her whereupon this
deponent Father together with ale the Servants were Apprehended
and Conveyed before the Lord Mayor And on the Same day this
Deponent Voluntarily Going to the MansionOfficehouse London
in Behalf of his Father and Servants was detained and Committed
