Who being upon Oath say and first the said Thomas Burgess< no role >
for himself Says that about half a Year ago he had a Silver
Watch now produced stolen from his Lodging in Do little Alley
Doctors Commons
that when he left his said Watch in his said
Room one William Gearing< no role >
was the only person in the Room
and he does verily believe the said William Gearing< no role >
stole the
said Watch, and the said Philip Webber< no role >
for himself Says that
about eight or ten Weeks ago he this Informant won the said
Watch now produced at a Raffle at a Public house in
White Rose Court
Coleman Street
and that William Gearing
was the Person who put up the said Watch to be raffled for
Sworn before me this
13th, of Febry 1778
