Farrigdon within by the City ofLondon, and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish ofSaint Ann Soho in the County of
Middlesex
and to every of them.

WHERE AS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
[..] Parishof Saint Ann Black Fryars in the Ward of Farringdon within
in the City ofLondon, That Martha Hook< no role > the Wife of Richard Hook< no role >
who hath deserted her [..] is
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and [..] islikely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath ofthe said Martha Hookas otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the saidMartha Hook

to be in the said Parish of Saint Ann, Soho in the County
of Middlesex
and that hithertoshe ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Ann Black Fryers in the ward of Farringdon within
London, forthwith to remove and convey the saidMartha Hook
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Ann Soho in the County of Middlesex
Andherdeliver unot the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order who is and are hereby required to receive a Pro-
vide forheraccording to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this21st. Day of November One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy five
