The Humble Petition and appeal
of the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint Botolph
Aldersgate without in the City of London
Sheweth
That by Virtue of an Order of Pass Warrant under
the Hands and Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the said City of London (one wehereof being of
the Quorum) bearing Date the Eighth Day of March
last

and
their three Children to wit

aged nine Years
William< no role >
aged seven Years and
Thomas< no role >
aged five Years (which said
John and William have generally gained no Settlement
for themselves) were removed from the Parish of Alhallows
on the Wall
in the said City of London to the said Parish of
Saint Botolph Aldergate without
as the Place of their
last legal Settlement
Your Petitioners conceiving themselves
aggrieved by the Order of the said two Justices
humbly appeal against the same and pray
that this Honourable Court will please to order
that the Benefit of the said Appeal may be
saved unto them And that the hearing and
Determination thereof may be adjourned unto
the next General Sessions of the Peace to be
holden for the said City
And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
