of the Parish ofSaint Dionis Backchurch in the

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof,one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate without in the City of
London, That Mary Boutflower< no role > This name instance is in set 914. a Single Woman having
with her a Bastard Child born of her Body named Mary aged< no role >
Eighteen Months along with her for Nurture is
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, andislikely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath ofthe said Mary Boutfloweras otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the saidMary Boutflower
to be in the said Parish of Saint Dionis Backchurch in the
City of London
and that hithertoshe and her Bastard Child named Mary with her for Nurture ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate without in the City of
London, forthwith to remove and convey the saidMary Boutflower
and her Bastard Child named Mary along with her for nurture
from and out of your said Prish, unto the said Parish of
Saind Dionis Back church in the City of London
Andherdeliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order who is and are hereby required to receive a pro-
vide forthemaccording to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this14 Day of February One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy five
