that on Friday this 3d. Say of Febry inst. when the deced went
to Attend his Duty as a Watchman in Bishopsgate
Ward he appeared to her to be in perfect health but
on his not returning the next Marning at the

informed that he had been unelly bent by come
Ruffians as he was on Duty the preveding night
and that he had been & sent to St. Bartholomew's
Hospital where she saw him the same Morning
and then he fold her he had been very [..]

by several Persons and that [..] such beating wod.
occasion his death that she attended upon him
every day to the time of his death which happened on
the 16th. day of Febry inst: that he particularly
complained of a violent pain in his sidethe day
