Henry Goodridge< no role > of Bishopsgate street in the Parish
of St. Botolph Bishopsgate London Taylor maketh
Oath and saith that on Friday the 3d. day of Febry inst.
[..] between the Hours of 10 and 11 in the Evening as Dept.
was standing at the Door of the House of Mr. Henry
Waterman
< no role > in Half Moon Alley in Bishopsgate
Street known by the Sign of the Wool Pack Dept. saw
a great Mob passing through the sd. Alley the deced
being there near his stand and Dept. heard some Person
saysomeDam your Eyes and some Person
immediatly struck the deced with a Bluden or
Stick with great [..] force on his Headwet [..] on the deced.
on which the deced retired to the sd. Mr. Waterman's
Door and says that thinking himself in great
danger he went directly home: says thathe being
between
the deced being between Dept. and the person
who struck the deced Dept. cannot pretend to
describe the Person who gave the Blow.

maketh Oath and with that witt

Henry Saffery< no role > the Younger of Bishopsgate of [..] Street London Surgeon
maketh Oath and saith that on Monday last the 20th.
of Febry. inst. on viewing and narrowly inspecting
the Body of the decedhe forcedthe whole of the internal
Visera appeared (except being in a general inflamation)
in a natural state, the Lungs and that Membrane
called the Pleura were considerably inflamed as
were the Intestines: that there was a considerable
Sarlu [..] onperifusion upon the left Arm and the upper Lip was
partly cut off by some Instrumt. of Force which
had also deprived the deced of the whole of his front
upperTeeth and had so violently fell upon the
under Jaw as to loosen most of the lower Teeth
that they came away upon the slightest touch: saith
that there doth not upon the whole appear one Bruise
or one Blow to authorise Dept. to say they were the
cause of his death, but that taking the general state of
the deceds Body into Consideration Dept. is clearly of
Opinion that the sevl. Blows and Bruises and the
genal Information of all the Visere [..] were to this Dept.
best Judgment and Belief the Occasioned of the deceds death
