maketh
Oath and saith that on the thirtieth Day of
December last past
and also on the second fourth
sixth and ninth Days of January Instant he
this Deponent went to the new Corn Market
in
Mark Lane
within the City of London
in order
to enquired into the Price of middling British
Barley And that on all the abovementioned Days
the common Market Price of middling British
Barley sold in the said Market was twenty five
Shillings and upwards the Quarter And further
saith that for several Weeks last past the common
Market Price of middling British Barley sold
in the said Market hath been twenty five
Shillings and upwards the Quarter And this
Deponent further saith that he is seized of a
Freehold Estate of the clear Yearly Value of
twenty Pounds and upwards over and above all
Charges and Reprizes and that he is skilful in
the prices of Barley and otehr Corn and that he
is a Housekeeper and lives in the County of
Middlesex And that he is not a Corn Chandler
Mealman Factor or a Merchant concerned in the
Importation of Corn or any Way Interested in
any Barley to be Imported.
