To the Right Honble James Townsend< no role > Esqr
Lord Mayor of the City of London and the rest
of the Worshipful Justices of the peace in their
General Quarter Sessions assembled:

The humble Petition of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. Martin Ludgate London.

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the
Hands and Seals of two of his Majesties Justices of the
Peace for the said City and Libertys thereof (one being of
the Quorum) bearing date the sixteenth day of April instant
Mary Woodcock< no role > Widow of William Woodcock< no role > deced and
their two Children Elizabeth< no role > aged fifteen Years and Mary< no role >
aged nine Years were removed from the Precinct of
Whitefryers London to the said Parish of Saint Martin
Ludgate London as the Place of their last legal Settlement.

Your Petitioners therefore conceive
themselves aggreived by the said Order or
Pass Warrant And do humbly appeal
against the same And pray such Relief in
the Premises as to your Lordship & Worships
shall seem meet

And your Petitioners shall pray Etc.
