Poor of the Parish of Saint Giles without
Cripplegate London , and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Mary at Islington
in the County of Middlesex
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto Us,
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
City of London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quo-
rum, by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Giles
London, That Sophia North< no role > Wife of Edward North< no role > a Prisoner
for Debt in the Poultry Compter and their Six Children to wit
Thomas< no role > aged Nine Years Edward< no role > aged Eight Years Henry< no role > aged
Seven Years John< no role > aged Six Years Sarah< no role > aged three Years
and Abraham< no role > aged Ten Months did
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Sophia North< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Edward North< no role > Sophia< no role > his Wife
and their said Six Children
to be in the said Parish of Saint Mary at Islington and
that thither to the said Sophia North< no role > and her said Six Children
and that thither toought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Giles
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Sophia
North and her said Six Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Mary at Islington
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with
this our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for them according to Law, Given under
our Hands and Seals, this 30th Day of October
One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy two
