WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto Us,
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
City of London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quo-
rum, by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Stephen in Coleman Street
London, That Margaret Biggs< no role > Wife of John Biggs< no role > gone
from her and their four Children to wit John George< no role > aged
Seven Years Charles< no role > aged five Years Anthony< no role > aged Two
Years and Sarah< no role > aged Six Weeks did
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Margaret Biggs< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said John Biggs< no role > Margaret< no role > his Wife
and their said four Children
to be in the said Parish of Saint Stephen in Walbrook and that
thither to the said Margaret Biggs< no role > and her said four Children
and that thither toought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Stephen in Coleman Street
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Margaret Biggs< no role >
and her said four Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Stephen in Walbrook
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with
this our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for them according to Law. Given under
our Hands and Seals, this 17th Day of February
One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy three
