make Oath and first the said Jacob Abrahams< no role >
for himself saith that Thomas
Hurnall< no role >
of the Old charge London Broker
is a Material Witness for this
Deponent on the Tryal of the said Indictment and thatwithout the
Benefit of the Testimony of the said Thomas Hurnall< no role >
on the Tryal therefore he
this Deponent cannot as he is advised and verily believes with safety to
himself proceed to take his Trial on the said Indictment at this present
Sessions And this Deponent Saith that he hath for the Space of Ten days
and more last past used his utmost Endeavours and diligence to procure the
said Thomas Hurnall< no role >
to appear at this Present Sessions as a Witness on
behalf of this Deponent And for that purpose he this Deponent on
Wednesday the Twenty Second day of April last past caused a Writ of
Subpena to be taken out for the said Thomas Hurnall< no role >
to appear at this
Present Sessions to give Evidence on behalf of this Deponent on the Trial of
the said Indictment and a copy to be made of such Writ of Subpana in
Order that the said Thomas Hurnall< no role >
might be served there with and this
Deponent delivered the said Writ of Subpana and the copy thereof to the said
Abraham Duglas< no role >
in the presence of the said Israel Levy< no role >
with Directions to
serve the said Thomas Hurnall< no role >
with the said Writ of Subpana And the
said, Abraham Duglas< no role >
for himself saith that on thursday the Twenty
third day of April last he this Deponent in the presence of the said Israel
Levy received the said Writ of Subpana and copy thereof from the said other
Deponent Jacob Abrahams< no role >
with directions from him to serve the same on
the said Thomas Hurnall< no role >
And these Deponent the said Abraham
Duglas and Israel Levy< no role >
for themselves Severally say that they did on
the same Thursday about one of the Clock in the afternoon go to the
Dwelling house of the said Thomas Hurnall< no role >
in the Old Charge aforesaid
in Order to serve him with the said writ of Subpana and did there make
diligent Enquiry for the said Thomas Hurnall< no role >
of John Carudas< no role >
who then
was and still is as these Deponents verily believe Clerk
to the said Thomas
Hurnall at his said Houses and the said John Carudas then informed
these Deponents and which information they verily believe to be true that
about Eight or nine days before that time the said Thomas Hurnall< no role >
had set off from London with an intent to go into the County of Norfolk
and other Parts of the County thereabouts to call on several persons
to collect in many Debts that were owing to him the said Thomas
Hurnall when he kept a Grace as Shop in Holbourne and that the said
Thomas Hurnall< no role >
had sent no Letter since he had been gone and that
he the said John Carudas did not know where to write to him the [..]

and these Deponents further severally say that on Friday
Twenty Fourth day of the said Month of April they that Deponent [..]
