The Information of
Charles Graves< no role >
taken
before me this 20th. day of May 1772
Who being upon Oath says he is a Linen Draper
in Cheapside
that on the 28th: day of March last this Informant deliver'd to
John Gross< no role >
and Thomas Bedwell< no role >
now present sixty pieces of
Cottons to be printed, the said John Gross< no role >
having about a fortnight
before applied to this Informant for Goods to print for him and
shewed him Patterns, that he has since found upwards of fifty
of the said pieces of Cottons on board the John Galley
bound for
Boston
in New England
, that the Marks are cut off from the said
pieces of Cottons and that they are not printed nor begun to be
printed, that he has been credibly informed and verily believes
that the said John Gross< no role >
and Thomas Bedwell< no role >
caused the said
Cottons ot be put on board the Said Vessel and that they intended
to quit England and take this Informant's said Goods with them
