Saith Cloth maker maketh Oath and saith That John Kerr< no role >
who
now resides at Armagh
in the Kingdom of Ireland is a material
Witness for the Crown in this Prosecution and that without the Evidence
of the said John Kerr< no role >
this Deponent is advised and verily believers it will
not be safe on Behalf of the Crown to prefer any Bill of Indictment to the
Grand Jury against the said Thomas Carr for or on Account of the Felony
for which he stands committed a to proceed to the Trial of the said Thomas
Carr And this Deponent saith that thew cannot has not been Time sufficient
to procure the said John Kerr< no role >
to come from Armagh
aforesaid to give
his Evidence at this present Session holding at Justice Hall in the Old
Bailey But that he this Deponent will use his utmost Endeavours
and verify believes he shall be able to procure the said John Kerr< no role >
to
attend at the next Session to be holden at Justices Hall aforesaid in
Order then to prefer a Bill of Indictment to the Grand Jury against
the said Thomas Carr< no role >
and to proceed to the Trial of the said Thomas
