that within two years now last past she pawned
with you the said John Bottomley< no role >
a Silk Camblet Suit of Boys Cloaths
to wit a Coat a Waistcoat and a Pair of Breeches
of the Value in the
whole ye Eighteen Shillings for the Sum of five Shillings And
Whereas it appears to me the said Justice as well on the Oath
of the said Elizabeth Winspeare as of Catharine Burn that on the
sixteenth day of this Instant March she tendered to you the said
John Bottomley< no role >
the Sum of Nine Shillings in Order for you to
take thereout the said Sum of Five Shillings, and also the Interest
and Charges of Warehouse Room agreed upon, which Interest
and Charges amount to two Shillings and three pence or
thereabouts, (being after the Rate of one penny half Penny
for each Month from the time of lending the said five Shillings) And whereas
it duly appears to me that you the said Joseph Bottomley< no role >
have refused to accept the money so as aforesaid tendered to you
Now on hearing of the said Matter in the presence of you the
said John Bottomley< no role >
I do order and direct you the said John
Bottomley
forthwith to deliver up to the said Elizabeth
Winspeare the said Suit of Boy's Cloaths so by her pawned to
you as aforesaid Given under my hand at the Guildhall
of
the said City this twentieth day of March in the year of our
Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty five.
