this 14th. day of November 1764

Who being upon Oath severally say that they know Richard Holmes< no role > late of the Parish
of St. Clement Danes in the said County Mercer and against whom a Commission of
Bankruptey was lately awarded and have done work at different times for him; And
the said Elizabeth Perry< no role > for herself saith that since the sd. Holmes became a Bankrupt
to wit about August last the Servant Maid of sd. Holmes brought to her at White Chapel
a new Silk Sack and Coat and told her that her Mrs. meaning said Holmes's Wife desired
this Informant wou'd Sole it for her put that sd. Servant afterwards fetched it away
and the sd. Dorothy Todd< no role > for herself saith that She used to work for the sd Holmes as a
Mantan maker that at the time he became a Bankrupt She had divers goods of his
in her possession to wit, one white Silk Sack and Coat, one Garnet Silk Gown, one black
Sattin and one black Silk Gown, one Persian Petticoat one bound Bonnet, one
white Sattin Cloak, one Pink & white Silk Sack forty two Yards and a half of blue
Silk in Order to be made up into Sacks, ten yards of black Sattin for a Gown and ten
Yards of Garnett Sattin for a Gown all new Goods and which She had Authority to Sole
if She had an opportunity says that since the sd. Bankruptey at different times between
the time of said Holmes becoming a BankruptandOctober last said Holmes had all
the said Goods back from this Informant that they were taken away some by his Servants
the rest by his wife And this Informant Rebecca Parkinson for herself saith
that since sd. Holmes became a Bankrupt to wit other in the Months of June or July
last She recd from him and Quilted for his use, two Pink Persian Petticoats, four
Prunella stuff Petticoats, three others one of them of a smaller size, two blue Sattins, one Callimanes
and one blue Pertian that they were made for Sale and that She delivered them all to Mrs
Holmes who / said her for her Work, that She delivered them all except one (which She
delivered at Mrs. Fergusons) at sd. Holmes Shop and frequently in the presence of
said Holmes, Mary Ramsy for herself saith that in the month of August last
She Quilted for sd. Holmes four Callimanes Petticoats three of them six bredths
the other five, that She sent [..] them home to his House and fetch'd them first herself
on being sent for when She saw Mr. Holmes and that he did her go up Stairs to
his wife which she did and recd the Materials from her in the Bed Room And
Lastly this Informant Jennett Ferguson< no role > for herself saith that since August last
She made up for the use of said Holmes about three dozen of Cloaks some of
them Sattin the rest Mode, about three dozen of Silk Hatts and Bennets
