The Information of Jacob
Cardozo

taken before me this 4th. day of
April 1764

Who being upon Oath says that on Thursday the 13th.. of March
last at about two in the Afternoon he met in Bury Street London
John Ives< no role > now presents who asked this Informant to Drink
says he went with said Ives into the Sign of three Herrings
in Creed Church Lane and drank some Run & Water with
him in Company with Isaac Black< no role > , says said Polack by said
Ives's direction went and fetched one Joseph Levy< no role > otherwise
Barber< no role > to sd. Ives,saysand also Aaron Spencer< no role > now present
to whom Ives produced a Gold Watch in Single Case which
went upon a Diamond says said Spencer & said Levy agreed
to by the said Watch of Ives for four Guineas after Levy
had been and shewed it to his Maser (as he said) says said
Levy paid the Money to Ives and carried the Watch away
with him and farther says that said does at the same
time gave said Polack a pair of Stone Buckles now produced
