Who being upon Oath says that he knows Henry Fosseth< no role >
Barnard Solomon< no role > otherwise called the great Bear, Samuel
Gough
< no role > a Barber in Bear Street Leicester Fields , and John
Robbinsale
< no role > of whom are common Thieves, says that, [..]
that on or about last Christmas Eve he said Solomon and Fossett< no role >
Stole from under an Archway in FridayBreadStreet near Cheapside
at the time a Porter was Moving of goods a [..] Parcell
wrapt up in brown paper which contained about twenty
eight Yards of brown Cotton, which they carried to a House in Dukes place
and left it at a House in Dukes place known to Solomon, while
they all three went to the Red Lyon Cock in Aldersgate Street and there
Stole out of the Yard a large Box of large Candles which they
first carried to the aforesaid House in Dukes place, in a Rish
Basket which Trossett borrowed of a Fish Woman in Shoreditch
to the House of Dick Swift< no role > in Shoreditch aforesaid, who bought
both Cotton and Candles for either two pounds or two Guineas
well knowing them to be Stolen, says that the Tallow Chandler
who Swift Deals with was present in his House when the
Goods was brought in, says that after Christmas he, Rossett &
Gough Stole out of a Cutters Shop near Newgate , Six [..]
knives and forks and two Razors , [..] tiptwith Silver that
Swift bought the knives and forks for six Shillings, and that
Gough had the Razors himself, says that about two Months
agoe he [..] Robbins & Solomons Stole from an Inn on Snow Hill
on a Suneas night a Box which contained four large Bibles &
other Books which Swift bought for twelve Shillings, says
the same night he Fossett & Robbins Stole from the said Inn
a Bagg of Tobacco, which they Sold, half a hundred weight to
one Rogston at the Barley Mow in Chick Lane and that
the rest was Sold by Fossett, say a few days as after this
he & Fossett Stole [..] from the same Inn a Box of Tin
Plates which Fossett Sold but to whom he does not know
says
