Death of a bastard Child

London Apothacary veryonmaketh Oath & saith
thatYesterdaylast night Dept. was sent
for to examine a new dead for [..] Male Child
which one Martha Hurst< no role > This name instance is in set 460. This set is in the group(s): MothersPS . a Servant to
Mrs. Sarah Quinsoy< no role > was lately supposed
to be delivered of, that this Morning Dept.
went there and carefully examined the
sd. Child and foundnotno external
Appearance of any Injury or Violence,
upon it that Dept. opened the Body of the sd. Child
and tried the usual Experiment of
puting the Lungs in Water and found
thethat the Lungs swam, from which
this Dept.concluderthat the sd Child
was born a live,th [..] but this Dept. doth
not apprehend that the sd. Experiment
is infallable That the Nerval String was
not tried and was about 7 or 8 Inches in Length.
