The Humble Petition and Prayer of Elizabeth
Smith< no role > a Prisoner .

Sheweth

That the Eighteenth Day of February Instant your
Petitioner was Committed to his Majestys Gaol of Newgate upon
the Oath of George Read< no role > on Suspicion of being Concerned with
others Unknown in Feloniously Stealing Sixteen Iron Barrs
the Property of the said George, Eight of the said Iron Barrs
being Found in her Possession And now is a Prisoner Confined
in Newgate under the Same Charge

Your Petitioner therefore Most Humbly Prays
That at this Present Session of Gaol Delivery
of Newgate holden for the City of London and
County of Middlesex She may be Tryed, Bealed
or Discharged Pursuant to the Statute
in that Case made and Provided.

And your Petitioner Shall Pray Etc.
