Says he asked Daniels how his Wife came to be
Stabbed Dept. seeing any Wounds or Bruises about
her [..] that the Wife of Sd. Daniels was about beeing
carried up Stairs when Dept. last the House [..] and
she appeared to Dept. to be Sppechless & dying and
he saw her the next Morning a little before she
dead. Says the said Thomas Daniels< no role > Knowledge
to this Deponent that he had Struck his sd. Wife
with his Fist.

Joseph Fluide< no role > of New Street Cloth Fair Founder maketh
Oath and saith that on Friday Evening last between 10 &
11 in the Evening as Dept. was returning from a Neighbour
House to his own House he saw a Woman lying naked
in the Street under a Gateway adjoining to Daniels
House whoappeared toDept, was informed & believes
to be Sd. Daniel [..] Wife: that Dept. with George
Clark
< no role > & William Seymour< no role > immediately up
to sd. Daniels Lodging Room; that Dept. told Daniel
that the Wife of his the sd. Daniels was dead & that
he the sd. Daniels must go along with them: that
Daniels when he was charged with having thrown
his Wife out of the Window denied he had done so, &
insisted that she had thrown herself out at the
Window: says he with sevl. others assisted in
conveying sd. Daniels to the Woodstreet Compter
whence they left him.

Charles Hilliard< no role > Lodging at the Dwelling house of
Thomas Daniels< no role > maketh Oath & saith that on Friday
Evening last about 8 of the Clock Sarah the Wife of
Thos. Daniels< no role > came into this Depts. Lodging Room & desired
leave to eight her Candle which she did & as Dept. believes
immediately went to her Lodging Room which is
exactly over this Depts. Says about 10 o' clock the same
Evening he sd. Thos. Daniels< no role > went [..] up the Stairlaxd
leading to his Lodging Room; that Dept. heard Daniels
knock at the door of his Lodging Room wth. him as
[..] calling, sally several times & saying Dam
my Breeches it is hard I cannot be admitted as I pay
my Rent & then Daniels forced the door open & Dept.
beleives that Daniels mended the [..] afterwards; says
