Nicholls well knew that the said Mary Tannatt< no role > could not according to truth so depose swear and give in Evidence
To the great hinderance of Justice To the evil Example of all others in the like case offending and
against the Peace of our said Lord the King his Crown and Dignity And the Jurors aforesaid now
here sworn and charged to inquire for our said Lord the King for the Body of the said City of London
upon their Oath aforesaid do further present that the said Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > This name instance is in set 1683. devising and intending as is
aforesaid after the Issue aforesaid was so as aforesaid joined in form aforesaid and before the Trial of the
same Issue in form aforesaid to wit on the said fifteenthday of February in the fifteenth
year aforesaid at London aforesaid to wit in the Parish and Ward aforesaid in London aforesaid wickedly did
send and cause to be sent to the said Mary Tannatt< no role > a certain paper Writing in Order to induce and
procures the said Mary to appear or a Witness on the behalf of her the said Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > This name instance is in set 1683. upon
the Trial of the Issue aforesaid and then and there falsly to depose swear and give in Evidence to the Jurors
of the Jury of the County aforesaid divers Matters in the same paper Writing contained and to Instruct
her the said Mary so to depose swear and give in Evidence Which said paper Writing is as followeth
that is to say I came to Mrs Nicholls [..] (meaning the said Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > This name instance is in set 1683. ) house one (meaning
on) ye [..] see the orinal paper if it be 4 or 5 (meaning the fifth) day of November 1739 and contiued (meaning continued) till ye. Munday folling (meaning
following) with her it happned to be thaire washing week Mrs N: (meaning the said Mrs Nicholls) was
never out of my Company (meaning Company) one hover (meaning hour) from ye time of my comeing till my going away
but when she went to bed I was with her ye first in ye morring (meaning morning) and last at night
Excepting her Husband I will take my Oath that Mrs Nicholls never in no Continuation (meaning Continuation) nor conspricing
(meaning conspiring) against any Person that week I sollomuly (meaning solenmly) declare she never
