Peter Walter< no role > Esqr Clerk of the Peace of ye County of Middx afd who prosecuted for Our sd. Lord the King in that behalf did
the like yr Whereupon Such further Proceedings were had upon the Indictment afd that afterward to witt at the
Session of Oyer & Terminer of Our sd. Lord the King holden for the sd. County of Middx at Hicks Hall afd in ye sd. County of
Middx on Monday the 22d. day of February in ye sd. 15th. Year of the Reign of Our sd now Lord the King before Edwards Barker< no role >
Nathaniel Chandler< no role > Peter Elers< no role > John Poulson< no role > Merry Teshmaker< no role > Francis Hole< no role > Esqruires & others their Fellows then
Justices of our said Lord the King assigned by Letters Patent of our said Lord the King under his Great Seal of
Great Britain to the Same Justices abovenamed and others and any four or more of them directed to inquire more
fully the truth by ye Oath of good and lawful Men of ye sd. County of Middx & by other ways means & methods by which
they should or might better know (as well within Liberties as without) by whom the truth of the matter might be
better known of All Treasons Misprisions of Treasons Insurrections Rebellions Counterfeilings Clippings
Washings false Coinings and other Falsities of ye money of Great Britain and other Kingdoms or Dominion
whatsoever and of All Murders Felonies Manslaughters Killings Burglarias Rapes of Women unlawful
Meetings Conventiclus unlawfull uttering of Words Assemblies Misprisions Confederacies false Allegations
Trespasses Riots Rents Relentions Escapes Contempts Falsities Negligences Concealmts. Maintenance
Oppressions Champarty Deceits & All other evil Doings Offences and Injuries whatsoever And Also of [..]
the Accessaries of them within ye County of Middx afd as wel within Liberties as without by whomsoever
and in what Manner So ever done committed or perpetrated and by whom or to whom when how and after
what manner and of All other Articles & Circumstances concerning ye Premes & every of them or any of
them in any manner whatsoever and ye sd. Treasons & other ye Premes to hear and determine according to ye Lares &
Customs of England the Issue afd came on to be tried & was tried by a Jury of ye Country in that behalf duly
taken between our sd. Lord the King and ye sd. Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > This name instance is in set 1683. and upon ye Same Trial the Jurors of ye sd. Jury
of ye Country brot. in their Verdict and did Say upon their Oath that ye sd. Eliz Nicholls< no role > was Guilty of ye Offence
and Misdemeanour charged agt. her & Specified in the Indictmt. afd And that Edward Bygrave< no role > in ye
Same Indictment named dyed after the Ninth day of November in the Year of Our Lord 1739 in Same
Indictment mentioned and before the Same Indictment was preferred as by the Record thereof more fully doth
appear And the Jurors afd now here Sworn and charged to inquire for our sd. Lord the King for the
Body of ye City of London upon their oath afd. do further present that after ye sd. Issue was Joined in form
afd And before the Tryal of ye Same by the Jurors of the Jury of the Country afd in form afd that is to
Say on the 15th.day of Februaryin the 15th. Year of the Reign of our sd. now

afd to witt [..] in the Parish of Christ Church in the Ward of Farringdon Within
in London afd devising and intending to pervert the due Course of Law & Justice and to induce the
Jurors of the Jury of ye Country afd upon the Tryal of ye Issue afd to beleive that ye sd. Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > This name instance is in set 1683. on
the Ninth day of November in the sd Year of our Lord 1739 in the Indictment afd abovementioned was not
present at Kensington in ye sd. Indictment also mentioned when ye sd. Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > This name instance is in set 1683. and Edward
Bygrave are in and by ye sd. Indictmt. supposed to have gone before ye Abovenamed William Morrice< no role >
