The Humble Petition and Appeal of
Robert Horne< no role >

Sheweth

That by an Order under the Hands and Seals of the
abovesaid Sr. Robert Westley< no role > and Sr . Joseph Hankey< no role > Knt . two
of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the said City of London
and Libertys thereof (One being of the Quarum) bearing date
the Fourth day of May last Your Petr. is Adjudged the Reputed
father of a Male Bastard Child there in mentioned to be Born
on the Body of Sarah Harper< no role > Singlewoman in the parish
of St. Botolph without Aldgate in the said City of London
on or about the Twenty Sixth day of Febry then last.

That your Petr. is there in Ordered to pay unto the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of Saint
Botolph without Aldgate on some or one of them the Sum of
Four Pounds one shilling and Six pence said to be by them
Expended for and towards the Maintenance of the said Male
Bastard Child And also you Petr. is thereby Ordered on Fryday
in every Week from and after the Date thereof so long as the
said Male Bastard should be Chargeable to the said parish
to pay to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the
said parish the Sum of Two Shillings and Six pence.

Your Petr. therefore Apprehending himself Agrieved
by the said Order of the said Two Justices humbly Appeals
to this Court against the same and pray such Relief
in the premisses as this Court shall see meet.
